SMS Program Terms

These SMS Terms describe the text-message program operated by Ember Development Studios, LLC through Cari, our AI receptionist, on behalf of the local businesses that use it. They apply only to text messaging and are separate from, and not a condition of, any other agreement, purchase, or account.

Program description

When you share your mobile number with a business through its Cari chat or by texting the business, you agree to receive text messages from that business at the number you provide. Messages are transactional and conversational — for example, appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, answers to your questions, and a text back if your call is missed.

Consent

Consent to receive texts is standalone and voluntary. You are never required to agree to text messaging to make a purchase, book an appointment, or use the chat. Providing your number for one purpose (for example, a booking) is not consent for unrelated marketing.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity with the business (recurring messages).

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply to all messages.

Opt out and help

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive one confirmation and no further messages. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@emberdevstudios.com.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
