Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Cari, provided by Ember Development Studios, LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Cari provides an AI assistant that answers questions, captures leads, and books appointments for your business across web chat and text message, using the information you configure. The assistant generates responses automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing bookings, leads, and escalations.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business information, pricing, and availability.
  • Use the service lawfully and only for your own business.
  • Obtain any consents required to contact your customers, and comply with applicable messaging laws (including TCPA and carrier rules) where you enable SMS.
  • Not use the service to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.

Subscriptions & billing

  • Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues through the end of the paid period.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

You may not attempt to disrupt or abuse the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to violate the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the AI’s responses will be error-free or that every message or booking will be handled correctly. You are responsible for confirming appointments and following up with customers.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ember Development Studios, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
